Balimbing Roll-Call

Now is a good time to do one. Fortunately, today's technology already makes this possible.

Erap while being interviewed in Quezon City while the siege was going on (Binay was reportedly with him at the time): "Hindi naman ako sinama sa pagpaplano e."

Jego, thanks for the heads up.

Schumey has a good analysis of the standoff in his blog www.schumey.blogspot.com/ and I think he is right. Indeed, the Lim-Trillanes venture could be a trial balloon test.

In the same vein, I believe the curfew in Manila is also a trial baloon test for the Arroyo govt.

Each side is testing the other and see how far they could go.

Esperon of course has the upper hand here — he’s got Gloria by his side and the materiel.

Filipinos all over the world should lambast the govt for imposing curfew in Manila even if only to build pressure against the bogus president and to keep prancing Esperon on his tiny lil toes.

Hi Arbet, just to clarify what i meant. Now is the time to take note of those who ridicule Trillanes and Lim while the two are at their low point. It would come in as a handy reference for comparison if and when the tide turns.

Chuck, ler me restate the statement then:

"I am looking forward to such a list."

I'll help with the research, I already have loads of bloggers in that list. Let us wait and see.

To Trillanes and and Lim:

Chuck, Danilo Lim said that "GMA stole the presidency from Erap". Is he implying that Erap should have been allowed to finish his term? Does he believe that Erap is innocent? Or is it a matter of choosing the lesser evil?

The same civilians who were involved in "stealing" the presidency from Erap were the ones who stayed with him in Manila Pen (Linggoy Alcuaz, Argee Guevarra, and Fr. Robert Reyes).

Mike, i have no problem with Lim using the term 'stealing' because Erap's Presidency was forcibly taken from him via EDSA Dos. I believe that Erap deserved to lose the Presidency.

What matters to me is that Gloria Arroyo stole the Presidency in 2004. BTW, it was Gloria who pardoned Erap.
