Nada Sousou Live in Shibuya

Rimi Natsukawa sings her popular Okinawan tune.

Update May-29-2008: First the bad news. The Live in Shibuya version of the video was taken down so i'm replacing with another live version. The good news is that i found the same song performed by Rimi Natsukawa, together with my favorite BoA and another artist Hitoto Yo.

Hey, thanks for introducing us to this very intersting genre. i thought Japan folk music is hopelessly indigestible, what with all those atonal ululations and whatnot. =) Another reason to like Japan. Just don't remind me of those war-time rape victims, which their officials refuse to admit as a mistake.

You're welcome although i think this particular song was written just recently hence its pop appeal. I agree that there's plenty to like and not like about the Japanese.
